Beginner Level – Build Your Foundation in Cuban Salsa & Rueda de Casino
Our Beginner classes are ideal for anyone who already knows the basic steps and simple turns of Cuban Salsa and is ready to gain confidence and fluency. Whether you’re moving up from the Absolute Beginners level or returning after a short break, this level introduces the key Rueda de Casino figures and essential partner dynamics in a clear and supportive way.
The focus is on strengthening your foundation—learning core figures, understanding how Cuban partner dancing works in a group setting, and improving your ability to connect and respond to both your partner and the circle. You’ll also become familiar with the terminology and conventions we use throughout all our classes.
If you’ve danced a bit of Rueda before but want to refresh the basics or learn the correct figure names, this class is a great way to build clarity and confidence before progressing to the Improver level.

We highly encourage participants to sign up for at least one month of classes to fully benefit from the learning experience. However, we understand that some individuals may have special circumstances, and in such cases, we offer the option to pay per class. The cost for a single lesson is 25 Euro. We want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to join our classes and experience the joy of salsa dancing and Rueda de Casino!

Important: Please use the regular bank transfer option (SEPA), which typically takes about two days to process. Avoid selecting instant transfer options, as we’ve recently received reports of transaction errors. If you encounter any issues, please email us a copy of the error message so we can address it with our bank.

Q: Do I need to have a partner to register for the course?
A: No, you don’t need a partner to register.
Q: Does the 75 Euro registration fee apply to one person or a couple?
A: The registration fee mentioned above is per person. If you join with a partner then both of you need to register separately.
Q: How many classes will be there in these three months?
A: There are 12 lessons planned for 3 months, 90 minutes each lesson.
Q: What happens if I miss a class?
A: It is okay to miss one or two classes. In case you miss more than a month then you have to repeat the course and have to reregister (pay again).
Q: How do I know I am registered for the course once I transferred the fee?
A: Once you registered (filled out the form) and transferred the registration fee, you will receive a confirmation email with your registration number within 3-5 working days.
